Cute Crochet

 ðŸ§¶

After all of the years of knitting &  believing crochet was a demon that just wouldn't let me win 😩 I am now so addicted. I'm so into making plushies for now.

Check out these cuties... do you know who they are?

Time

A lot of time has passed! I really need to get back into the swing of things. I've been busy busy busy. This season I'm planning to knit tiny items & make serious changes at the same time. I'm going to need a support system for all of it. Let me know if I am able to count on you. 💜

knitting fever!

I have it, it won't go away either. I spend hours gazing at yummy yarns & new patterns on ralvery.com. I have knitting fever...

I have an impressive cue from baby things to afghans. I just completed the dead fish hat from another creative knitting Mom on knitty.com (thank you)

I love how it turned out! My son is so happy (gold star for Mommy!)

let me know if you like my color / yarn choices. <3 K

Jazzlynn's quilt

I decided to share the quilt that was created for Jazzlynn born 8/13/12
it has the all so girly  fuschia, purple and pink tones going. I like it!

A World United

So, I have been wondering. What if we teach all of our children, relatives, friends and neighbors how to knit and/or crochet? The plan would really work if all of the people that we teach would in turn teach within their circles. I believe that I haven't run across any mean, overly angry or racist people in our crafting community. I however, get great patterns, tips and advice from "friends" all over the world and all walks of life. In our growing community we don't care about race, size, gender, religion, sexual preference. We just love our craft. If the entire world could just catch up. We could be a world united...( I know I know I can hear John Lennon singing "Maybe I'm a dreamer..." ) BUT what if?!

I have been working on towels, towels and more towels! So on to hats and cowls for fall/winter

I will be posting pictures of my completed projects soon. Feel free to join in <3 K

Happy Holidays!!!!!

So many projects so little time...

It's been a very knitty season so far. I have pumped many gifts and sold many items and still going... I love to knit I can not express that enough. I do however have a slight issue with the fact that we work hard on our crafts ( whatever it may be ) we offer some things free, we display some, give them away as gifts too BUT when something is for sale it is for sale. There seem to always be those people who just HAVE to have a discount ( or free) seriously I can never understand that. If someone has information as to why this always come about please let me know any opinions are welcome.
I will post pics of some of the completed projects soon

I'm Never Too Busy To Knit

" A Mother who is really a Mother is never free"              Honore de Balzac 1841
I am rarely spotted without a  tote of any sort with knitting needles and some kind of yummy yarn hanging out. As I walk past, I can hear a mention of my craft. Mothers always explain to their small children that those are knitting needles maybe she making a sweater followed by " she must have a lot of time on her hands" or "that's what some people get to do when they don't have little ones at home".The truth is I have two tiny ones at home. When you love something you find ways to make it happen. How do I explain this to those "craft challenged" moms?
I get a lot of knitting done at appointments, while others flip through the community germ infested magazines I am in my own world counting stitches relishing in the click of the needles. I knit at the playground while other Moms find a new friend to chat with. I knit at the huge information meeting at the high school. I am truly productive when I am lucky enough to be sitting in a passenger seat. That covers a lot of "time" that is normally wasted. This "time" didn't include the times I've knitted at gymnastics, tae kwon do, wee ones art classes, football games or while on the daily homework stand by.
I am never really "free" but I find time to knit. I often wonder am I the only one who can pull time out of the air. :-)
Happy Hobbies to all until we meet again
